Call quits after one ring

If this issue has been posted previously, I apologize - I can't find it.

For the past couple of days, when my wife calls the house with her cellphone it doesn't appear to connect on her end. She says the phone never rings, and she never hears anything. At the house, the phone rings one time and when you answer there is nothing on the other line.

Upon further investigation, we determined that this is occuring only when she calls the temporary number assigned to the account. If she call our traditional phone number (which is being forwarded to our temporary number) then the calls goes through ok.

Any suggestions?

Are you porting your number over? Maybe its gone through.

No. Haven't begun the porting process.

Put a ticket in if you havent.

May be a routing issue (provider side) that they need to fix.

But at least you know how to get around it...
