Anyone else have issues using X-Lite or X-Lite beta and only being able to receive calls? If I make a call via softphone I get a beep beep after 45 seconds, but I'm able to answer calls just fine.
I'm using sip.voipwelcome.com as the hostname.
Any ideas?
I did have that problem when I first tried X-Lite, and it seemed to be that I was confused by the account configuration settings in X-Lite. Once I got that straightened out, it worked ok for placing calls. I have never tried receiving calls.
Set the "User Name" and "Authorization user name" to your phone number. See if that helps.
I'm not sure what platform you're using it on, but I've had a lot of trouble with the Mac X-Lite beta with multiple VoIP providers. I really can't say if the Windows version has the same trouble.
