What do the actions of Busy, Disconnected, etc. actually do?
So if I set a phone number in my history to Busy, or Disconnected, or Blacklist, do any or all of those settings result in my phone not ringing for that number, or does my phone ring once or twice and then the action kicks in?
Just curious...
Thanks

Your phone will not ring.

Thanks! As I suspected but I wasn't sure...we get a lot of calls where it rings once or twice and then hangs up.
What happens if number is "blacklisted" on their end...what sort of response does the telemarketer get?

To know exactly how it works, block your cellphone number to the specific way you need to block and try to call your VOIPO number from your cellphone :) Then you can unblock your cellphone once you hear what blocked callers hear when they try to reach your number. I did it as I was curious as you are :)

Good idea. They get the standard "We're sorry this number [is no longer in service| has been disconnected]..." :)

For fun, you also might like to forward telemarketing calls to some of the numbers listed here:

The number for Echo test is an especially funny one: 909-390-0003.
