    Default 911 Problem

I was doing some 911 testing today. I have 2 lines at my address on 2 different internet connections. I could not enable E911 on one line but could on the other. The one with it enabled worked fine and went to the correct dispatch. The other one did not and went to "Northern 911" Any insight on how to fix this?

I'm assuming the one that went to the dispatch center was the one it didn't take the address for.

When you submit an address the 911 service tries to match it up with the proper center, but if it can't find an exact match for an address it will not accept it and will go to dispatch only.

The system will display the address it's accepted. If it keeps rejecting it, the 911 center will have to manually put it in.

If the address is not matching (likely a rural address), we have to send the info to the 911 center to manually locate the geolocation and associate with the number before it will accept it.

Yes, submit a ticket. We have to send to the 911 center to validate and it may take 3-5 business days for them to process it. The address will show up in the vPanel when done.
