Thread: Provisioning Linksys PAP2T

    Default Provisioning Linksys PAP2T

I am trying to provision a Linksys PAP2T that I bought off of ebay. I entered the url as the provisioning rule in the router advanced admin settings. It didn't seem to be working, so I double checked I entered the MAC address correctly and in doing so I noticed the MAC address shown on the sticker on the bottom of the device is different than the MAC address shown in the linksys admin control panel. Is this normal? Which one should I give to voipo?

Yup, looks like this one is a counterfeit, the MAC address on the sticker matches Research in Motion Limited, and the MAC address on the admin doesn't match anything. I set it up with the SIP credentials and it is working fine. But I'm not going to expect it to work for very long. I got what I paid for, a cheap price, but it will probably break in a short amount of time.
