I telework and my Voipo number is the number I give out for work so I can keep my home phone private. I use the SIP app when I need to contact someone from work and need the caller ID to show that phone number. I don't use it often but it's there when I need it.

Definite good use of a softphone. I'm assuming you mean you give out the voipo number because you want to keep the "Cell Phone" number private. That was my main question. In earlier days, I used the softphone a lot more. My cell phone was on a plan that didn't have unlimited minutes. So I would use the sip app; especially if it was going to be a long duration call, and I didn't want to use up so many minutes. With "Most" cell plans now having "Unlimited" Talk&Text, I was simply curious if softphones were used as much anymore as an app. But to keep your cell phone number private would be a good use.
