How long on average does porting a phone# take?

I currently have a land line with ATT..hoping to test Voipo service, port the # and make sure it works with my home office in the 30 day timeframe. (The company I work for routes calls from my office phone to my home phone via softphone)

ATT landlines generally port within a few days. They're one of the most efficient surprisingly and it's almost all automated.
