    Default Hurricane Gustav

With the onset of Gustav, what are your plans for riding out the storm? It seems to be on a path towards Houston If I am reading the maps correctly.

They'll go on business as usual.

When HG was in FL, Hurricanes were a common thing. People had to work no matter what. If they couldn't get past a certain area because it was flooded the owner would send a boat

He had limos lined up in case of evacuations and had hotel rooms already rented in a neighboring area with laptops setup so people get back to work.

Gustav means nothing to them LOL

Fortunately it went right around us, but yeah if it had hit, it wouldn't have affected much.

I'm not quite as crazy as Brent is with HostGator as far as the examples given, but the big picture is basically the same.

We have a contract for access to contingency office space in Dallas for people to work from in the event that this kind of thing happens. It's through The Planet and is fully equipped with computers, internet access, etc. It's designed just for this kind of scenario.

Our equipment is spread out throughout Houston and Dallas datacenters and wouldn't really be impacted at all with the redundancy features built-in.
