Looking for References
Hello
My company is considering becoming a VOIPO reseller, but was looking to talk to get insight and information
from current resellers on their experience with VOIPO. Is there anyone here who can comment on the
following:
Quality of product/Quality of Service
Customer service and Support given to reseller
Pro's/Con's
User interface
Cost
Any information would be very helpful. I am really looking for honest answers, so please feel free to share any and all experiences good or bad.
Thanks,
-Dave

Re: Looking for References
Hi, Dave.
I just got my reseller information not even two weeks ago. Just like you I have been doing lots of research and asking lots of questions. Let me share what I've done and hope it's of some help to you. First, cost...it's only $24.95 no contracts you can try it if you don't like it simply cancel. I would highly recommend the following for your business.
1: 2checkout payment gateway - free to setup, rates as low as 2.9% (you could also use PayPal if you wish)
https://www.2checkout.com/
2: Open Cart - An open source shopping cart, which also supports 2checkout gateway plus a point system, to create a customer loyalty program.

3: Arvixe - An awesome web hosting company I only pay $7 monthly and it includes one free domain for life. This service also comes with Softaculous Script Installer, which with a couple of clicks you can easily install Open Cart. For my main website I am currently using Joomla, which is also open source and simply downloaded a free template from Google.

4: Knowledge is POWER! Spend some time when you can to learn your services, products, and what others are offering this will save you time and money. Good place to start is Voipo forums. Also if you know HTML, PHP, FLASH a bit Java and FTP you would be on a REALLY good start, since getting a web designer might be pretty costly. You could always call your local community college and ask the web design class if they can help your business in return for some project credits.
As far as service, it's been really great for me. I had some minor issues and was able to fix them simply by reading the reseller's forums. If you have any other questions I will be more than happy to help you.
